Magazine Layout
Mother Earth News is a bi-monthly magazine that approaches environmental problems from a down-to-earth, practical, simple living how-to standpoint. The problem with the magazine's original layout was that it was a bit too noisy. In order to portray the simple living lifestyle, the logo needed to be something simple, straight forward and compact. I created a new logo and layout that is straight forward and eye catching. I worked with Jeff Sant and Greg Wilson to create the illustrations.
